Join Our Team as a Field Team Technician!

Field Technicians – Fixed term, full & part-time 4-month contracts from April 2024

Te Korowai o Waiheke is a charitable trust working towards a predator free Waiheke Island and now planning for the Surfdale Rat Trial. We have full and part-time opportunities to join Te Korowai as a field team technician, be a contributor to this exciting project, starting 19th April 2024 on Waiheke.  If you enjoy working outdoors, want to make a real difference in conservation this is the job for you.

It is essential that you are physically fit to walk each day on varied terrain and in all weathers.  Animal pest management or conservation experience would be desirable, and training will be provided.

Good communication, and relationship skills, a can-do attitude are necessary. The successful applicants will be adaptable team players, self-starters who are committed to maintaining consistently high standards of work.
